Pecos County rancher and real estate appraiser, Thomas C. Kincaid, Jr. has announced his intention to file on the Republican ticket for the District #74 seat in the Texas House of Representatives.

It is Mr. Kincaid’s goal to take his conservative values and fiscal responsibility to state government and is looking forward to serving the good people of West Texas as their legislative voice in Austin.

Thomas C. Kincaid, Jr. is a life long, conservative West Texan who strongly believes in the ideals, principles, and morals that West Texans hold dear.

Thomas C. Kincaid, Jr., Pecos County rancher and real estate appraiser, has announced his intention to file on the Republican ticket for the District #74 seat in the Texas House of Representatives. Mr. Kincaid is a life-long West Texas resident, graduating from Fort Stockton High School in 1969 and receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Sul Ross State University in 1974. He has been married to Dru for over 33 years, and they have two adult sons.

Kyle, age 32, is a decorated Iraq War veteran. He and his family have settled in Fort Stockton following his discharge from active duty in the U.S. Army. James, age 28, is employed in the water well industry in Fort Stockton.

Mr. Kincaid and his brothers run a cow-calf operation on the family ranch in southeastern Pecos County. He is a lay pastor with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and has served on the Tres Rios Presbytery Church Development Committee. He has also served on the Fort Stockton High School Campus Improvement Committee and is a past Chairman of the Rio Grande Electric Coop Advisory Committee in Fort Stockton.

It is Mr. Kincaid’s goal to take his conservative values and fiscal responsibility to state government, ensuring the voice of West Texans is heard in Austin. Although District 74 is sparsely populated, Mr. Kincaid believes the people of the district have important contributions to make to our great state both ideologically and economically. He will work diligently for all the people who live in this vast rural area of Texas and is looking forward to serving the good people of West Texas as their legislative voice in Austin.
